Play-by-Play Coaching Program

RBLL is proud to offer the “Play-by-Play Coaching Program” for all T-ball to Major coaches.  The Program is designed to be an ongoing support system to develop coaches and, in turn players, through their Little League journey.  The Coaching Program offers ongoing meetings throughout the various seasons, a mentorship program, practice plans by division, and lots of baseball knowledge.  Our goal is to provide a coaching community and to encourage coaches to support one another and the development of our players so they be the best they can be.

If you have any questions, comments or feedback please reach out to Alex Spjute-
[email protected] and/or Jeremy Coltin - [email protected] .

RBLL Mentor Program

Through the Play-by-Play Coaching Program, RBLL offers a mentorship program to assist and guide coaches through their coaching journey.  We will sync experienced coaches with any coaches interested.  The experienced coaches will assist their mentees with understanding game rules and provide support such as practice and game plans.  If you are interested in participating in the mentorship program either as a mentor or mentee, please fill out the form below.  After coaches are selected for the upcoming season, the league will reach out to those who are interested.

Practice Plans by Division

While there is no one way to run a practice, RBLL has prepared example practice plans to support coaches for their upcoming seasons.  We encourage each coach to take a look at the respective plans and adapt your own personal style to each practice.  We ask that coaches use these plans as a guide to ensure that we are developing the players with the best technical coaching possible.

What Should a Player Know at Each Level?

Although players start their Little League journeys at different ages and stages in their lives, there are specific skills of which each player should have a basic understanding at each level of play in order to be successful as they continue moving up divisions.  Below are some resources to assist with player baseball education so that you can ensure you have taught what your players need to know for their continued development.
