The Redondo Beach Little League Softball Summer Season is the ideal opportunity for players from 5-12 years old to sharpen their skills and build on their abilities developed during the spring season. Additionally, players can be evaluated during the summer season in order to better understand what division they will be best suited to play in during Spring 2018 season.

Schedule: July 10 – August 11
Games/Clinics: Two 90 minute clinics per week
Snack Bar: No Snack Bar Shift Required
Party: Summer Ball BBQ Party at season's end

SUMMER SOFTBALL PROGRESSION PROGRAM
This program will be managed by Perfect Play Athletics. Their age division progression programs are designed for staying in shape, and sharp. Whether you are an elite player, or just starting out, there is a specific program plan for you! Softball Progression Divisions by PPA is the ideal program for your young athlete to thrive! Partnering with Perfect Play Athletics has helped us develop a unique softball program that truly keeps families and players involved in this great sport.
Program Focuses and Requirements
Softball Skills Repetition Drills (Batting Cage Practice, Ground Balls, Fly Balls, etc.)
Conditioning/Agility
Scrimmage Games
Opportunity to play other positions and grow
True individual progression in Softball- Growth in skills, mechanics, and knowledge of game
Structured and controlled environment
Pitch regulations within simulated and scrimmage games. There will be a pitch monitor within scrimmages/games to protect young players from unnecessary injuries
Attend each event within your age division at your leisure, no commitment or penalties for missing a scheduled event
Perfect program for players who play multiple sports
Parent participation is strongly encouraged at these clinics.
